How do I get started?
- Register: Complete online registration by clicking here.
- Access the Parent Portal: Once registration is submitted, you will have access to the Parent Portal where you will be able to manage your account, your child’s enrollment, and payments. Watch this quick video to learn more about how to use the Portal.
- Annual Membership ($45) is required for students taking classes and private lessons and will be auto charged to your account.
- The non-refundable $45 Annual Membership fee per child is due in order to place students and/or keep their spot on any waitlist.
- There is no contract or minimum months to join.
- Monthly Tuition is what secures your child’s spot in class and is due the 1st of each month. If payment is not received by the 7th of each month, your child’s spot may be forfeited. We highly recommend setting up automatic payments to avoid this.
- Get Enrolled: Once registration is submitted, our enrollment coordinator, Alexa, will EMAIL you confirmation, information, and next steps (usually within a week).
- All new students are required to complete a one-month in a beginner class before joining a regular class. We place new students the first week of each month and returning students as soon as a spot is available. This curriculum cannot be skipped. If a beginner student misses more than one beginner class, s/he will need to complete a private lesson to cover the missed curriculum prior to being enrolled in a regular class. Though we HIGHLY recommend the beginner class, if it doesn’t work for you, the other option to complete the beginner curriculum is to sign up for 2 Private Lessons (PLs) instead. Registration is still required.
- Placement options are based on availability.
- The first month’s tuition will be prorated.
How do I pay?
Payments can be made online through the Parent Portal or in-person with cash only.
- We accept Visa, Discover, and Mastercard payments through the Parent Portal . All credit card payments will automatically be surcharged 2.59%. This surcharge does not apply to debit cards.
- We also accept cash in-person
- We do not accept payment through any app (apple pay, cash app, Venmo, Zelle, etc) or checks
What should my child wear to class?

- NO BUTTONS, BEADS, ZIPPERS, SNAPS, BUCKLES, OR STRINGS

- BAREFEET: Shoes and socks are to be removed. Everyone must be barefoot.
- REC GIRLS: leotards and unitards are best. Tights, leggings, or non-baggy/loose shorts that do not cover the feet may be worn over a leotard or with an athletic fitted shirt or tank tucked in. NO CROPS, SKIRTS, LOOSE SHORTS, SKORTS, or TUTUS
- BOYS: Sport shorts that aren’t large, long, or baggy and a tucked in fitted athletic t-shirt or tank.
- TEAM: hair must be securely pulled up and away from face (including bangs). Leotards and unitards with or without fitted shorts or leggings only. No t-shirts, tanks, or loose clothing.
What does my child need to bring?
Besides a positive mental attitude, and shoes to wear in and out of the building, your child should bring a reusable water bottle (to be kept on the gym floor during class) and anything else they need to keep their hair out of their face and clothes in place for practice and any additional support supplies, such as braces, pre-wrap, and tape.
When should we arrive for class?
Students should arrive no more than 5-10 minutes prior to their class time. This is so that we have time to clear out the building and parking lot to make room for the next students. We may have the front door locked or ask you to remain outside of the facility, including the parking lot until the class prior has cleared out.
How do you structure your classes?
Our recreational (beginner and intermediate classes) are structured by age and our advanced (pre-team and team) classes are designated by skill & technique, maturity, and drive. Our gymnastics classes include instruction and development for all gymnastics events. Our current rec classes are:
- 3, 4 & 5 yr olds (boys and girls together) 8-student max – 60-minute classes
- 6, 7, & 8 yr olds (girls) 8-student max – 60-minute classes
- 9+ (girls) 8-student max – 60 minute classes
- Boys 6 and older: Boys & Intermediate classes (boys) 8-student max – 60-minute classes
Our more advanced classes include our Pre-team (Little Stars & Shooting Stars) and Competitive Team (Levels 1-10) are for girls 5 and older who are evaluated and meet the minimum skill and behavioral criteria – class length varies. Students must pass an evaluation and receive an invitation from the Director for placement in these levels. See more details on the Team page.
What should I expect my child to learn in the recreational (rec) classes?
Recreational classes are those that are not specifically for competitive team. Our coaching staff develops monthly learning objectives for our rec classes based on fundamentals, core skills, strength, inversion, and body awareness and control. Depending on their age, our classes will teach students how to do the basic skills for gymnastics on Bars, Beam, Floor, and Vault. When they demonstrate that they can perform the core skills, consistently, and with good form, their coach may recommend an evaluation to be considered for our advanced classes pre-team and team classes. See the Class Information page for more details.
Can I stay and watch my child during class?
Absolutely!! We have always had an open-gym floor-plan. There is a large viewing area upstairs with bleachers.
Can I drop my child off for class and leave?
Yes! We do require an adult/guardian to stay for the duration of a new student’s first class, otherwise, you can stay or leave as you wish.
How do I determine which class my child should be in?
All new gymnastics students 3-8 year’s old start in a beginner class for one month. Once they complete the beginner class, they can move into any regular recreational class we have with open spots. Our coaches are trained to advance students and identify when they are ready to move up levels.
What happens if we miss a lesson?
It happens and is no big thing. We do not provide refunds or credits for missed classes. Make-up classes are not guaranteed. Once you enroll and pay the monthly tuition, your child’s place is guaranteed through the month for the class in which they are registered, whether they attend or not. Because of this hold, refunds will not be issued.
- Make-ups are provided in the case of CONTAGIOUS ILLNESSES. Make-up for day(s) missed may be scheduled once the office is provided with a signed doctor’s note for the child. Make-ups are contingent upon class availability and are not guaranteed.
- Team students are not eligible for make-ups.
- All make-ups must be scheduled and confirmed with the office at least 1 week in advance of attendance. Make-up classes are subject to the availability of class times and spaces and cannot be rescheduled. If you miss a make-up class, we will not schedule another one. A limit of ONE make-up class will be given per month to those eligible. Classes must be made up within the month of absence and will not be carried over. Email alexa@nassergym.com to inquire about make-ups.
Are sibling discounts available?
Sibling discounts are applied to our annual membership fee and monthly tuition. When an additional child is enrolled, they receive a $5 discount to both of those fees.
How long does my child have to be in a class before they get to move up to the next level?.
At Nasser, our goal is to advance students by teaching the proper progressions, body shaping, strength, and core skills. Students advance at their own pace, which is not based on duration, but rather abilities, strength, maturity, drive, etc. Each child is moved up on an individual basis. When your child is ready to move up, our coaches will let you know.
- If you think your gymnast is advanced, you may schedule an evaluation for $55. We typically recommend Private Lessons to strengthen and polish the necessary skills to advance prior to an evaluation
- Evaluations are used to advance students, but also to assess students in their gymnastics development. Evaluations are great for providing insights on students’ skill level and possible areas of improvement.
- Private Lessons and Evaluations may be booked in the Parent Portal under Events.
How can my child participate in the competitive team?
Any of our gymnasts in Level 1 or higher have the opportunity to compete.
